Poinciana Parkway opens to two lanes.

Getting out of Poinciana just got a whole lot quicker. Poinciana Parkway removed the cones today as work comes to a close on it's extention. The road has recently changed from one lane in each direction, to two lanes in each direction. As of now, just the side leaving Ptown is barrier-free. Coming into Ptown, the barriers are still up with some work finishing up at the end of the bridge. Once those are down, the next step in development woud be the connection to Osceola-Polk Line Road. Then plans include direct access to I-4, as well as, the Southport Connector to the Florida Turnpike. This in-turn would divide Poinciana into two halves as previously written about, here. Leaving the community in termoil.
